Joyce Fitzpatrick

Joyce Fitzpatrick, age 79, Franklin, Ohio passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017 peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Joyce was born in Montgomery County, Ohio on March 3, 1938 to the late Thomas and Olive DePew.

Preceded in death by her two brothers, Wes DePew, Don DePew and brother in law, Roger Stamm.

Joyce retired from the US Postal Service after 20 years of service. She loved the beach and being in the sunshine. Joyce was known for her positive personality and how she enjoyed life. She also enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles with her grandchildren and traveling. Joyce will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her four sons, Edward Fitzpatrick, Jr., John Fitzpatrick,William Fitzpatrick, Daniel (Beverly) Fitzpatrick; three daughters, Beverly Ann Fitzpatrick, Anna (Bill) Bowman, Regina (Todd) Brackney; thirteen grandchildren, Seth Fitzpatrick, Levi Fitzpatrick, Abby Fitzpatrick, Joe (Brittany) Hatfield, Carly Hatfield, Regan Fitzpatrick, Jennifer Glackin, Mariah Fitzpatrick, Billy Bowman, Tommy Bowman, Trey Brackney, Jacob Brackney, Kyle Brackney; great grandson, Gunner Hatfield; brother, Chuck (Betty Ruth) DePew; two sisters, Betty Stamm, Bev (Bill) Gansheimer; two sisters in law, Doris DePew, Rebecca DePew and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services are Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 10:00 am at Southwest Church, 150 Remick Blvd Springboro, Ohio with Pastor Roger Hendricks officiating. Burial to follow in Woodhill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm also at the church.
