Joyce Beryl Lawson

Leonard McGee Lawson Jr., age 76 and Joyce Beryl Lawson, age 73, of Trenton, passed away together on Tuesday, June 9, 2015. Leonard was born May 18, 1939 in Ills, Ohio, the son of Leonard Lawson and Hazel (Cartwright) Lawson. Joyce was born October 6, 1941 in Zag, Kentucky the daughter of Albert Tackett and Bethel (Blair) Tackett. They are survived by two daughters, Kim (Denny) Dearth of Carlisle, Karen (Mark) Cope of Middletown; three sons, Tony (Julie) Rose of Fairfield Township, Kenny Lawson of Destin, Florida, Carl (Terri) Lawson of Middletown; 16 grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren; his sisters, Betty Graft, Helen Pate, June Higgins, Rosemary Cornett, Thelma Cuddy; her sisters, Irene Hall, Sherry Moore, Linda Bush, Robin Collier; her brothers, Larry Tackett and Ernie Nickel; and numerous nieces and nephews. They were preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy, Earl and Johnny Tackett; their parents; and his sister, Marie Cain. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Towne Boulevard Church of God with Reverend Kenny Brewer officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 am Saturday until service time at the church.
