Judy Lynn Trent

Judy Lynn Trent, age 84, of Middletown, Ohio peacefully went home to be with the Lord on January 23, 2026. Judy was born on March 24, 1941 in Esserville, Virginia. She grew up in Virginia and enjoyed visiting her family home with loved ones.

Judy faithfully served 54 years working at Clayton Street, Harland Park and Stratford Heights Church of God where she worked as an office administrator, church clerk, pastor’s secretary and served in various ministries. Judy was well-known and well-loved by those who knew her in and out of the church. Many were blessed by her quiet leadership, warm spirit, and unwavering commitment to God’s work.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband; Porter Trent, her parents; Willard and Mollie Cardona (Hyden) Wells, eight brothers; James, Kyle, Bruce, Bond, Frank, Carl, Neil and Jerry; and two sisters; Sue and Bonnie. Judy was survived by her daughter; Missy Lawson, step-son; Rod (Meg) Trent, step-daughter; Rhonda (Larry) Parsons, two grandchildren; Tim Wolfe and Rachael (Brian) Blankenship, six step-grandchildren; Alex Trent, Rachel (Max) Rumker, Eric (Hannah) Trent, Elly Trent, Taylor (Brantley) Mills, and Caitlyn Parsons, three great-grandchildren; Kirtis Wolfe, Rylynn and Brinley Blankenship, three step-great-grandchildren; Reid and Meredith Rumker and Hayden Mills, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Stratford Heights Church of God (4419 Nelson Rd in Middletown). A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026 at 11:00 am, also at the church and officiated by Pastor Ray Phillips. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery in Miamisburg, Ohio
