Kenneth "Dave" Collins

Kenneth "Dave" Collins, age 76, of Germantown, Ohio passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Sycamore Hospital in Kettering, Ohio surrounded by friends and family. Born in Prestonburg, Kentucky on November 4, 1948 he was a son to the late Orville & Rebecca (Fraley) Collins. Dave had worked many years at Mindlin recycling in Franklin as a forklift operator, before retiring. He loved to tinker with all things, and loved old cars, and was known to "wheel and deal" his way around. Dave was onry that's for sure, but he loved spending time with his granddaughters and family and of course his two yorkie dogs. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Angela Collins: son in infancy: brothers Paul Collins; Hobie Collins; Bill Collins; William Collins; Matthew Collins: sisters in law Annie Collins; Cynthia Collins.

Survived by his daughter Katina Dawn Combs: granddaughters Chelsea Combs; Dakota Combs; Kendra Combs: siblings Hebrew Collins; Timmy & Kristi Collins; Danny Collins; Emmanuel Collins; Calvin & Debbie Collins: in laws Bonnie Collins; Katha Collins; LaVonne Abrams;Teresa Barnett; Juanita Jones; Randy Bowles: special friend Jim Ferguson: (who nicknamed Dave “The Old Goat”)as well as numerous nieces, nephews extended family members and friends.

Friends may call on the family from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at the Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio 45005. Funeral to follow at 1PM, and then burial at Woodhill Cemetery, Franklin, Ohio. If desired memorial contributions may be made to the family to start a fund for Dave's grandchildren.
