Kimberly Dawn Bateman, age 58, Trenton, Ohio passed away on Monday, March 13, 2017. Kim graduated in 1976 from Edgewood High School and in 1983 from Miami University, where she earned a degree in business and accounting. Throughout her career Kim worked in accounting and sales. She was also a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Known for her keen, analytical mind and passion about social issues, Kim never shied away from a spirited debate about all things political. Earlier this year those concerns led her to participate in the Women's March on Washington. On the home front, Kim's culinary skills were lauded by family, friends and associates, and her karaoke talents were a source of entertainment for those lucky enough to be nearby. She was a cat person who doted over the felines who happened to appear in her life. A love of sports rounded out her many interests.
Survivors include her mother, Iola Little; her brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Sandy Little; her niece and nephew-in-law, Darcy and Brent Schwass; and her many friends. Her father, Von Little, preceded her in death in 2001.
Visitation will take place from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 16 at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home in Middletown. A Celebration of Life service will be at 7pm. Burial will be at 10 a.m., Friday, March 17 at Butler County Memorial Park, Trenton.
