Laurie Jennifer Botsford, 65, of Middletown , passed away Friday morning, February 7, 2014 at her residence. She was born October 14, 1948 in Muskegon , Michigan , the daughter of Lawrence Botsford and June Hanson Botsford. Laurie graduated Orchard View High School 1966 and Michigan State University 1970. Laurie worked 20 years in the Catskill hotels and recently as an accountant for Taylor, Bean and Whitaker Mortgage Company. She is survived by her significant other, Chuck Clark; a sister, Kristine Jim Mullendore of Rockford, Michigan; two brothers, Jon Joan Botsford of Alto, Michigan and Charles Fran Botsford of Akron, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Jeanann Dunlap. Laurie had several passions including geneology, high school bands, and helping women in recovery.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Reverend Scott Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Butler County Memorial Park .
