Lawrence V. Skinner

Lawrence Vincent Skinner, age 98, of Franklin, Ohio, died Thursday June 2, 2016 at Otterbein Of Springboro. He was born in Franklin, Ohio on January 22, 1918 to Charles and Elnora (Morton) Skinner. Lawrence served in the army during WW II and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He was employed with Armco Steel for 30 years and retired in 1982. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Skinner, mother, Elnora Skinner, wife, Beatrice Skinner, son, Doug Skinner, brothers, Ed Skinner and John Skinner, sisters, Ella Thompson and Mary Jane Shulaw, half sister, Olive Hineline. Lawrence is survived by his daughter, Sandra K. (Herb) Miller; brother, Charles Skinner; grandson, Zachary; and daughter-in-law, Linda Skinner. Mass of the Resurrection is 1:00pm Monday June 6, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church Franklin 115 South Main Street Franklin, Ohio with Reverend James Manning officiating. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd St Franklin, OH.
