Kathleen was born on July 31, 1924, in Beallsville, Ohio to the late Joseph B. and Nona (King) Burcher. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Matlock and four siblings, Joe Burcher, Jr., Ruth Ann Owens, Mary Lou Cotton and Dennis Burcher.
Kathleen is survived by her son, James Matlock; her daughter, Carolyn Hosey; two grandchildren, Melissa (Paul) Patrick, Richard (Jennifer) Moore; great-grandchildren, Danielle (Mike) Wissinger, Nick Moore and a great-great granddaughter, Peyton Wissinger.
She was active in volunteering and enjoyed crocheting caps for the St. Vincent dePaul Society.
Private family services will be held at the convenience of the family. Final resting place will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Columbus, Ohio.
