Lois Wolf

Lois Wolf, age 85, of Middletown, died Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at the Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born August 24, 1928 in Germantown, Ohio, the daughter of George Taylor and Ruby Bowles Taylor. Lois volunteered at Middletown Regional Hospital for 28 years. She loved to travel and was always on the go. Lois had a home in Port Isabel, Texas and wintered there. She is survived by her husband of 67 years and companion of 77 years, Herbert Wolf; one daughter, Nancy Michael Gillespie Wolf of Glide, Oregon; two grandchildren, Adam Traci Cook of Portland, Oregon, Abigail Gillespie of Roseburg, Oregon; two sisters, Carol Chuck Minge of Monroe and Linda Taylor of Fairfield; and nieces and nephews, Bradley Gressle, Larry Wolf, Deanne Hensley, Rachel Lemmel, Andrea Callahan, David Minge, Marjorie Walker. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Christine Gressle. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Michael Gillespie officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Poasttown.
