Lola Clark 80, of Franklin passed away March 7, 2013 at the Franklin Ridge Nursing Home. Lola was born in Owsley County, Ky the daughter of Lewis and Jane (Thompson) Combs. Lola loved gardening, cooking ( known for her chicken and dumplings/ fried chicken) and canvassing the neighborhood garage sales.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and 7 brothers.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Oliver, 2 sons, Rick (Alyson) Clark and Garry Clark, a daughter, Donna (Luigi) Zenadocchio, 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, a brother, Dallas Combs and her sister in law, Phyllis (Jean) Banks.
Funeral services will be Tuesday 10:00 am at the Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd. St. Franklin, with the Rev. Roger Green officiating. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery. Condolences may be made to the family at www.anderson-fh.com.
