Luna Loyce Rowland

Luna Loyce Rowland, age 81, of Franklin, Ohio passed away on March 14, 2024. She was born on December 17, 1942, in Kinder, LA, the daughter of the late George Norris and Necy Loyce (nee Butler) Kelly. She was also preceded in death by her son, Shane Rowland and 5 siblings, Thad Kelly, Dallas George Kelly, Ernest Ray Kelly, Sr., Robert Kelly and Laura Louise Kelly.

She is survived by her 3 sons and 1 daughter, Gary K. Rigmaiden, Greg D. Rigmaiden, Kevin J. Rowland and Cami S. Rowland Vest. Luna is also survived by lots of excellent nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

She was a wonderful, soft spoken (mostly) mom to us brats and all of our friends. She was shy yet sociable and friendly to everyone.

Early in life, she was a beautician, worked on an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico as a cook (The Best) Gumbo!! and later as a health care worker taking care of the elderly and disabled individuals.

Memorial services will be held at The Reverie at SouthBrook Christian Church, 9095 Washington Church Road, Miamisburg, Ohio 45342 from 5:30- 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2024.
