Margaret L Day

Margaret Lucille Day, age 83 passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Hospice of Butler Warren County. Margaret was born in Brooksville, KY on January 16, 1942 to the late Elmer Garr Bennett and Lucille Wilson (Jones) Lakes.

Margaret was employed with Bethany Lutheran Village in Kettering, OH for several years in housekeeping. She enjoyed knitting, embroidery, cleaning house, watching and talking with people, listening to Gospel and Country music. She was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Terry Lee Day in 2021; her son, Terry Eugene Taylor in 2018 and her best friend, Thumper. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Judy (Dan) Abner; her three grandchildren, Christopher (Brandi), Danielle (Seth), Nikki; her nine great grandchildren, her two sisters, Yvonnie (Ernie) Wiggins and Evelyn (Doug) Ponder.

Visitation for Margaret will be Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, OH 45005, followed by the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM with Pastor Danny Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery.
