Mark L. Shaffer was born on January 9, 1952 and died September 6, 2011. He took his last breath in the arms of his loving wife of 40 years, Barbara. He is also survived by 3 sons, Justin & his wife Lori, Christopher and Nathan; 2 grandsons, Jacob & Jeremy; his mother, Ruth Ann Shaffer; one sister, Marcia husband, Kevin Flowers; and one brother, Mike wife, Paula Shaffer. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Shaffer. He graduated from Franklin HS & Southwestern Technical College and he was an EMT & a Reading Tutor. He loved his family, his dogs, Rudi & Dolomite, and music, especially the Beatles. He will be missed. A private memorial service will be held at the family's convenience. He will be interred at Woodside Cemetery.
