He was employed as a barber and a custodian at Manchester Middle School. He loved to fish and hunt.
Martin is survived by his daughter, Teresa (husband, Larry) Tufts of Middletown; a grandson, Ryan (wife, Betty) Adams; great grandchildren, Mason and Arilyn; a sister, Thelma Allen of Middletown; his favorite fishing buddy, Joe Brewer; and a special sister-in-law, Brenda Allen.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shelby Jean Johnson in 2011; his parents; four brothers, Butch, Thomas, Charles and Willard.
Visitation will be from Noon to 2:00 pm Saturday at the Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home with funeral service starting at 2:00 pm, Reverend James Anderson officiating.
Burial will be at the Fairmound Cemetery, West Elkton, Ohio.
