Mary (McManus) Poe Popovich

Mary (McManus) Poe Popovich, age 93, longtime Springboro, Ohio resident, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016 at Sycamore Glen Nursing Home. Mary was born in Dayton, Ohio on January 28, 1923 to the late James and Mary McManus. Mary retired from Ledex then worked part time for Monarch Marking for a couple of years.

She was a member of the Middletown Senior Citizens, Over 50's Club, Senior's Bowling League and enjoyed playing bingo and dancing.

Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lou Popovich; sister, Patricia A. Tangeman & brother, Michael McManus. Mary will be missed by her loving son, Jim (Linda) Poe; grandsons, Anthony Poe & Brian (Stephanie) Poe and great-grandchildren, Chance & Justice.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 12, 2015 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 115 S Main St, Franklin, Fr. James Manning, Celebrant. Visitation will be held Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Anderson Funeral Homes, 40 N. Main St., Springboro. Interment Saint Charles Borromeo Cemetery, South Charleston.
