Maxine J Woodward

Maxine J Woodward, age 87, of Middletown, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at the Majestic Care of Middletown. Maxine was born in Franklin, OH on May 10, 1937 to the late Jess and Tennie (Cook) Tinch.

Maxine attended Dayton School of Nursing and was a Registered Nurse with Middletown Eye Specialist from 1960 to 1996. She was a wonderful, beautiful and giving mother. Maxine was outgoing, Loved life to the fullest, had a passion for Bluegrass Music, enjoyed traveling for the baseball games with her family and was the life of the party.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Paul Woodward; her grandson, John Wills; her sisters, Juanita McGuire, Sandy Profitt, Betty McIntosh, Phyllis Holt, her brother, Jerry Tinch; her step daughter, Marjorie Woodward. Maxine is survived by her two daughters, Teresa Dearth Robinson and husband Gilbert, Candace Schenck and husband Scott; her ten grandchildren, Joshua Hendrixson and wife Beverly, Jesse Schenck, Scotty Schenck and wife Ariel, Amanda Hadley and husband, Kyle, Phillip Woodward and wife, Jamie, Sarah Woodward, Nikki Woodward, Katie Malone, Willie Woodward, Brian Pitzer, her thirteen great grandchildren, including Cheyanne Hendrixson, Colton Strong; her step children, Mike Woodward and wife, Nancy, Steve Woodward; her two sisters, Sharon Pinkston, Patti Lundy and husband Paul; her two brothers, Stanley Davis and Larry Davis.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Majestic Care of Middletown and Southwestern Hospice of Cincinnati for their wonderful care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E 2nd St Franklin, OH 45005.

A Graveside Service will be 11am Saturday November 2, 2024 at Woodhill Cemetery with Pastor Chuck Purvis officiating.
