

Missi was a quiet and kind soul whose heart was centered on caring for others, especially her family, with whom she loved with all her heart. She showed her love through gentle actions, patience, and compassion, never seeking attention but always making a difference. As a caregiver with Happy Home, LLC., Missi took great pride in helping others, finding purpose and fulfillment in making people feel safe, supported, and valued.
She had a deep appreciation for creativity and nature. Missi loved art and expressed herself through drawing and painting, often finding peace in the simple joy of creating. She also enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, and spending time surrounded by nature. Animals held a special place in her heart, and her love for them reflected her naturally nurturing spirit.
Missi was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Phyllis Elgin; her sister, Pamela Sue Elgin; and her brother, Andrew David Elgin.
She is survived by her loving father, Andy Elgin; her sisters, Kelli (John) Flack, and Jan French; and her cherished nieces and nephews, Brandon Eldred, Meagan Damrell, Adam Elgin, Kaleb (Lyndsay) Elgin, Jessica Eldred, and Kristina French; She also leaves behind her great-niece and great-nephew, Addison and Kaden Elgin, along with many extended family members and friends who were touched by her quiet kindness and caring heart.
Friends and family are more than welcome to celebrate the life of Missi, and attend a graveside service on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Miami Valley Memory Gardens Mausoleum, 1639 E. Lytle Five Points Road, Centerville, Ohio 45458.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family or to Anderson Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
Missi will be remembered for her gentle presence, her love of art and nature, and the quiet, meaningful way she cared for others. Her kindness lives on in all who were blessed to know her.
