Michael Lee Melton, age 65, of Middletown, died Tuesday, September 09, 2014, at the Atrium Medical Center. He was born November 2, 1948, in Middletown, the son of John Huel Melton an Alice Henry Melton. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Kutzera Melton; one daughter, Teresa Melton Barrett of Middletown, one son, Chad Kerri Melton of Beavercreek, Ohio; three grandchildren, Kirsten, Conner and Trinity; one sister, Donna Lee Bobby Ferguson of Arlington, Texas; two brothers from another mother, Rick Freeman and Rick Elkins. He was preceded in death by his parents; a stepmother, Lorene Conn Melton and one brother, Donald Melton. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the following doctors and staff, Dr. Omer Hurlburt III, Dr. Vuong, Dr. Nath, Dr. Kapur, Dr. Gary Brown, Dr. John Miller and a special thanks to the Atrium Medical Center and staff for their care.
