Noah Lane

Noah went home to be with the Lord on May 27, 2025, at the age of 90. He was born in Tazewell, Tennessee on April 25, 1935, the sixth of seven children of Nelson and Laura Lane, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by siblings Lucille Hatcher, FloElla Phillips, Coralee Brooks, Ruby Livesay, Eugene Lane, and Andy Lane. He came to Dayton, OH in 1952, to work where he retired from R.L. Drake in 1998. He is survived by his wife, Laura “Sue” Lane of 72 years and their three children, Noah “Aundre” Lane, Mary Maranda “Rennie” Lane, Lesha Suzette Lind (Mike). Grandchildren Kelsey Lane, Ben Maderic, Mark Maderic, Susan Loper (Larry), Wilson Lane (Amanda), Sara Gargas (Nathan), Noah “Ryan” Burnett (Diana), Jeremy McCloskey. Great-grandchildren Tait, J’Ana, Zianna, Logan, Morgan, Nolan, Shelby, Tegan, Brooklynn, Arianna, Zechariah and numerous nieces and nephews. Noah was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He accepted the call to Pastor in 1960 where he led Bethel Baptist Church for many years. He was a passionate gardener and everyone who knew him knew the pride he took in it. He carried a vast knowledge for so many things and taught anyone who met him something new all the time. He never met a stranger and would help anyone with anything he could. Noah meant so much to so many and will be greatly missed.

Visitation hours will be Friday June 6, 2025 10 am-noon with the service to follow at noon at Friendship Baptist Church 522 N. 12th St. Miamisburg, OH 45342. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Miamisburg, OH.
