

Norman McGhee, age 74, of Middletown, OH died Tuesday February 3, 2026 at his residence with his wife by his side. Norman was born in Huntsville, TN on June 2, 1951 to the late Cal and Lena (Dyer) McGhee.
He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a welder with The Dupps Company for approximately 20 years and with Adex International for approximately 15 years and retired in 2016. Norman was a member of the VFW#3809 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Germantown.
Norman was a loving husband who enjoyed riding motorcycles, listening to classic rock music, watching football games and Cincinnati Reds baseball games, and visiting his family and friends in Tennessee as often as possible. Norman loved his family, including his dog, Styx, who he named after his favorite band.
He is survived by his wife, Debra (Linville) McGhee; one brother, Estel McGhee; 3 stepchildren, Kimberly (Michael) Chupka, Phillip Cooke, and Sarah Cooke; 10 grandchildren, Logan Chupka, Emalee Richey, Connor and Allie (Williams) Chupka, Deston Halcomb, Dru Halcomb, Jason Chupka, Leah Chupka, Lauren Baker, and Eric Chupka; one great grandchild, Greyson Stone Chupka; one aunt, Verde Thompson of Clinton, TN; one estranged daughter, Brandi Bowermaster. He was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Vernon and Thurston McGhee.
Funeral Services are 4pm Sunday February 8, 2026 at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E 2nd St Franklin, OH with Matt Spurlock officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2pm to 4pm. Military honors will be given at 4pm prior to the service.
