Paul R. Ellis "Dap", age 72, of Carlisle, OH; died Thursday June 9, 2011 at Miami Valley Hospital. Paul was born in Allock, KY on February 27, 1939 to A. Paul and Clara (Hill) Ellis. Paul lived in the Franklin and Carlisle area over 50 years and graduated from Carlisle High School in 1958. He served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1962 and was a machinist with Globe Motors, Dayton Reliable Tool, and Square D and retired in 1999. Paul is survived by a daughter Rhonda Ellis, a son Roger and wife Debbie and son Richard Ellis; grandchildren Jesse, Rachel, Abe, and Sara, great grandchildren Abram, Lillie, Harrison, brothers Russell Ellis and wife Ruth, Ralph Shelton and wife Lucille, sister Barbara Ellis Mabry and husband Jim. A memorial service will be Tuesday June 14, 2011 at 2pm at Anderson Funeral Home 1357E. 2nd St Franklin, OH with Rev. Robert L. Hill officiating.
