Reva Martin

Reva C. Martin, age 89, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village, Monroe, Ohio. She was born May 24, 1921 in Blountville, Tennessee to A. D. and Lydia Foust Cartwright. Reva was a homemaker who loved to bake, bowl, crochet, flower garden, golf and read. Being the youngest of six children, she loved to be around people and had many friends. She attended the Christ United Methodist Church. Reva is survived by her husband of 69 years, Paul L. Martin; daughters, Doris Jerry Raleigh, Barbara Larry Ray, and Patricia Fletcher; grandchildren, Marilyn Ron Brumback, Diane Brian Bailey Raleigh, Jay Lisa Raleigh, Paula Gar MacDonald, Missy Rob McCullough, Angie Dave Harsh, and Robert Carrie Salyer; 12 great grandchildren; 6 step great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; five siblings; grandson, William Jensen, and son-in-law, Wayne Fletcher. Her family wishes to thank everyone at Mt. Pleasant who lovingly cared for Reva. Visitation will be Thursday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM with the funeral service at 2:00 PM at Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, S. Sutphin at Woodlawn, Middletown with Chaplain Karen Fleming officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
