Richard Donald Matthews, age 80, of Miamisburg, OH; died Wednesday January 12, 2012 at his residence. Richard was born in Franklin, OH on May 10, 1931 to Charles and Mattie (Parlett) Matthews. He was formerly employed by Dunn's Furniture in Miamisburg, OH, was a faithful member of the Block Pentecostal Church on Ninth Street. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Richard is survived by a sister Evelyn Bowens, 16 nieces and nephews, 35 great nieces and nephews, and his care giver Barbara and Rusty McKinney, all who loved him dearly. Funeral services will be Monday January 16, 2012 at 11am at Block Pentecostal Church 434 S. 9th St Miamisburg, OH with Rev. Tim Baker officiating. Burial will be at Heritage Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10am until the time of the service at the church.
