Bob leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Sandy, his sister Susan Bolger (nee Barnes), daughter Elizabeth and sons Steve and Jeff. Bob was equally proud of his daughters-in-law, Virginia Hazard-Barnes and Jennifer Price. He was also a cherished grandfather to Lauren, Will, and Erin Barnes.
Bob served bravely in the United States Air Force, demonstrating honor, courage, and commitment throughout his career. His time spent in Vietnam was a testament to his courage and dedication to uphold the freedoms we enjoy. These accomplishments were some of the highlights of his life, marking him as a true hero.
Private burial to be held at the Dayton National Cemetery. His memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and all those fortunate to have known him.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to organizations supporting veterans.
