He was born to parents James and Laurette Bollenbacher on June 7, 1962 in New York City, NY.
He graduated from Ramapo High School (New Jersey) and completed his Bachelor’s degree at Wittenberg University (Ohio) in Business and Political Science.
Robert was self employed as a Certified Financial Planner and expanded his talent in the industry by becoming an instructor in the field.
He was a man who put his mind to and accomplished more in 59 years than some could even dream about accomplishing in a lifetime. He renovated nine houses, traveled to nine countries and 30 states, learned (and mastered) carpentry, and volunteered extensively for the local parks and his church. He loved a good book, the beach, and spending time with his family.
He was a coach, a support system, an advisor, never a stranger and always a friend. His generosity was overflowing and he was never without a smile.
Robert is survived by his wife of 30 years, Melinda, as well as his daughter, Lynn, granddaughter, Delilah, and brother, Paul.
He will be greatly missed by his family, his friends, and all who knew him. A Celebration of Life was given March 27, 2022 at Polen Farm in Kettering, Ohio.
