Robert Wayne Davidson

Robert (Bob) Davidson passed away Tuesday, July 30th, while under Hospice care at the Drake Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. He died peacefully surrounded by loving family members.

Bob was born on January 4th, 1952. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Davidson, his mother, Geletta Rose, a brother, Roy (Bubby) Davidson and his beloved dog, Roxie. Surviving are his brothers Joe (Krys) and John (Sherry) Davidson. Also grieving the loss of their “Dad” are his stepdaughters Brandy Helfrey (and her life partner Ted Barnett) and Christina Swigart, both of whom Bob raised as if they were his own. Adoring grandchildren include Avery Swigart, Donovan Barkley, Ava Swigart, Devin Barnett and Journey Robinson. A special companion and caregiver, Vicki Davidson, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive and mourn his loss.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Friday, August 3rd at 2:00PM at his family’s homestead located at 7956 Kyles Station Rd., Liberty Township, OH. Reverend Robert Fisher will officiate. Family and friends are invited to attend and share pictures and stories as Bob’s life is commemorated.

According to Bob’s wishes, his cremains will be interred beside his mother at Butler County Memorial Park during a separate, private ceremony with immediate family only.
