Robert Parks

Robert C. Parks, age 81, of Monroe, died Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the Otterbein Retirement Community. He was born October 17, 1931 in Middletown, the son of William E. Parks and Myrtle O. Hazelwood Parks. Robert was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Korean Conflict. After retirement from Armco Steel with 35 years of service, he loved spending time with his family and working in his wood shop. He was past master and chaplain of High Point Lodge #773 F.&A.M. and also a member of Lincoln Lodge #693 F.&A.M. Robert was a lifetime member of Grace Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jacqueline Rae Alexander Parks; two daughters, Denise C. Dan Aldridge of Franklin, Karen S. Robert Lykins of Franklin; one son, Robert Kevin Lisa Parks of Trenton; nine grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and two brothers, Royce Janet Parks of Middletown, Ronald Peggy Parks of Franklin. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Dr. Roger Green officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time Monday at the funeral home with a Masonic Service at 10:30 AM. Burial will be at the Grace Memorial Cemetery.
