Robert A. Popp, age 95, formerly of Middletown, died Monday, October 1, 2012 at the Grace Healthcare of Tucker in Tucker, Georgia. He was born February 5, 1917 in Middletown, the son of George A. Popp and Emma K. Daubt Popp. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II. He worked in sales for Crystal Paper Company. He is survived by two sons, Roger A. Popp of Norcross, Georgia, Robert B. Popp of Nashville, Tennessee; and two grandchildren, Bryce and Kyle Popp. He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara F. Barker Popp in 2010. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday at the Woodside Cemetery, Section 9. Arrangements are by the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home.
