

Robert Wesley Walters, age 77, of Monroe, Ohio, died Tuesday June 4, 2013 at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. Robert was born in Princeton, West Virginia on June 6, 1935 to Willard and Mable Grace (Nipper) Walters. Robert served in the Air Force during Korean War and was a member of Baptist Tabernacle in Carlisle. Robert retired from Jefferson Smurfit. Robert was preceded in death by parents Willard Wesley and Mable Grace Walters, also a great-grandson, Wesley Allen Wei Tolson, three sisters, Emma Dean Walters, Mary Lee Thomas, and Patty Kay Walters. Robert is survived by his wife Phyllis Fay (Brock) Walters, a son Wesley Dean Walters and his wife Lael Walters, a daughter Brenda Lee Tolson and her husband Allen Tolson, grandchildren Matthew Allen Tolson, Mark Wesley Tolson and his wife Natasha Tolson, Christopher Dean Tolson and his wife Samantha Tolson, Ryan Wesley Walters, Marie Huiping Walters, and Faye Jiucai Walters. Great grandchildren Ava Mei Tolson, Cordelia Faye Tolson, Hunter Dean Tolson, and Skyla An Tolson. Sisters and brother Maxine White, Juanita Jane Connor, Bonnie Sue Lariviere, Frank Willard Walters, Phyllis Ann McKenzie, Bertha Gail Pengulia, Kathy Raye Shumate. Funeral services are 11:00 am Saturday June 8, 2013 at Baptist Tabernacle 7816 DuBois Road Carlisle, Ohio with Reverend Michael Gray officiating. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Burial Park with military honors. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the church.
