McGrew, Ronald L., age 78, of Springboro passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021, at the Atrium Medical Center. He was in Dayton, Ohio on March 29, 1942, the son of the late Carl and Edna (Rawlings) McGrew. Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Sherry (Back) McGrew; three sons and a daughter, Pat (Sharon) McGrew, Matt McGrew, Mike (Heidi) McGrew, Pam McGrew; a step-daughter, Laura (Joseph) Isom; a brother, Donald (Patty) McGrew; eight grandchildren, Kyle (Jaclyn), Jake, Grace, Hope, Keesha, Cassandra (Chris), Joey, Jr., and Garland. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School, Class of 1960, where he was a star basketball and baseball player and was retired from Delco Products after 27 years of service. Ronald was an avid hunter and played on many Dayton Softball Teams. He was a member of the DIAA Hall of Fame and the Dayton Softball Hall of Fame. Private Services will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 East Second Street, Franklin with interment to follow in Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
