Ruth Stephens

Ruth Ann Stephens 83, of Springboro died Saturday December 31, 2011 at the Atrium Medical Center surrounded by her loving family and friends. Ruthie was a very loving person whose family meant everything to her. She had many friends and never met a stranger. A native of Franklin she was born January 26, 1928 the daughter of Samuel and Hazel (Coleman) Barnhart.

She graduated from Franklin High School and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Franklin. She was also a member of the Eastern Star in Franklin and was co-owner of the Walter F. Stephens Jr. Inc with her husband, Walter who died in January 2009.

Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers, Earl, Frohman, Tommy and a sister, Joan Curtis.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Carol Ann Stephens and Diane Maloney, a grandson, Stephen Maloney, a sister in law, Phyllis (Alberto) Zier, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday 1:00 pm at the Anderson Funeral Home 40 N. Main St. Springboro. Visitation will be Thursday 5 - 8 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery.
