Sandra Louise Sorrell

Sandra Sorrell, age 75, Franklin, Ohio passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Spring Hills of Middletown. Sandra was born in Lebanon, OH on May 7, 1942 to the late Roy and Mamie Ruth Hedger. She was an active member of VFW Post 3809 Auxiliary of which she was President in 1974-1975. She worked faithfully for Elder-Beerman for 30 years. She also enjoyed bowling, photography and traveling.

Sandra was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Larry Sorrell; son, John (Katie) Sorrell; daughter, Robyn (Dallas) Winstead; grandchildren, Elsa and Clara Sorrell, Dallas Winstead, IV; brother, Dave (Luretta) Hedger; step-brother, Kenneth Fielders; and numerous other family, friends and neighbors.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Spring Hills of Middletown and the nursing staff of Hospice of Dayton for the loving care they provided.

Funeral services are Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home, 517 South Sutphin Street Middletown, OH with Pastor James R Anderson officiating. Burial in Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 10:00 am-12:00 pm at the funeral home. There will be a special service during visitation by the VFW Post 3809 Auxiliary.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Dayton.
