Stefanie Rene Lockett

Stefanie Rene Lockett, age 64, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Hillspring of Springboro. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 7, 1960, the daughter of the late Willie and Mary Alice (Lumpkin) Warren. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister-in-law, William and Ruby Robinson, Arthur Robinson.

She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Garrett N. Lockett, Sr.; three sons, Garrett N. Lockett, Jr., Stefan Lockett and Ernest Lockett; grandchildren, Dwayne Lockett, Tairra Beach and Alana Bradley; great-grandchild, Kaylani Bradley; siblings, Ida (Cleveland) Wems, Alberta Evans, Lee (Benatha) Warren, Lawona Warren, Clarice Warren-Brown. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Stefanie was a graduate of Garfield Heights High School and Wright State University where she received an Associates Degree in Nursing. She was also a D.J. at the University Radio Station. Stefanie was a member of the Ethan Temple Seventh Day Adventist Church and a past president of the Edison Elementary School PTO. She was also a member of Delta Sigma Pheta Sorority, Inc.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ethan Temple Seventh Day Adventist Church, 4000 Shiloh Springs Road, Clayton, Ohio.

Final resting place will be in Dayton National Cemetery,4400 West Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45428.
