Sue Whitaker

Wilma Sue Whitaker, age 76 of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus. She was born September 27, 1941 in Blue Diamond, Kentucky the daughter of Granville and Malvena (Combs) Robinson. Sue was an avid golfer, she was the President of the Ladies Golf League, and enjoyed playing at Weatherwax and Pleasant Hills. She was a cashier for Albers Supermarket for 9 years and Cashier of the Year for one year. Sue loved her family and looked forward to her visits, especially with the grandchildren.

Sue is survived by her husband of 57 years, Paul Whitaker; two sons, Kent (wife, Mary) Whitaker and Kirk (wife, Michelle) Whitaker; two grandsons, Branden and Derek Whitaker; siblings, James (wife, Audrey) Robinson, Jean (husband, Gene) Ivey, Loretta (husband, Cecil) McNabb, Carlos (wife, Angie) Robinson and David Robinson. She will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Granville Robinson, Jr.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7:00 pm at the Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Butler County Memorial Park. Please visit www.breitenbach-anderson.com to share a memory or condolence.
