Sue was a lifelong, active member of St. Paul Lutheran’s church in Franklin where she was a member of the choir, as she loved singing and served as the church secretary for many years. She grew up in Carlisle as a farm girl- she loved her alma mater. She was a cheerleader back when all you had to do was cheer. She met the love of her life, Ron, at Chautauqua Skating Rink. They married in 1955 and spent 4 years at Lockport Air Force Base before building their home on her parent’s farmland in Carlisle. Their home was filled with love and fun, Sunday dinners with the entire family, swimming, and playing ball in the backyard. The grandkids will always remember her bubbly energy and funny words and phrases, like “oh, shoot a dog”, “oh peanut butter, and you could not say “butt”, it was “tail feathers”. She loved the Cincinnati Reds. If they were on, she was watching. She also had a love for rollercoasters, she took her last ride at the age of 86! She was always full of life and active, there was no slow in her step! She was quick up until the last 6 months. She lived a long life full of love.
Visitation will be December 10th at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church from 10-12 with the church service beginning at noon. Burial will follow at 1:30 at Miami Valley Memorial Gardens, 5335 Far Hills Ave.,
