Thelma Loretta Pell

Thelma was a loving wife, mother, and mamaw. Family was very important to her. In her younger years she enjoyed playing cards, bowling, sewing and loved baking cookies and cakes that everyone enjoyed. She especially loved to make baby quilts for every baby she could. She was the queen of Yahtzee and would play everyday with her son Robbin and everyone who would visit. She was a devout Christian. The most important parts of her life were serving the Lord, her family and being kind to everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, and her loving husband of 54 years in 2005 Robert Parker Pell.

Thelma is survived by her sons, Parker Allen Pell (Maureen), and Garry Robbin Pell “Cobra”; granddaughter, Heather Marie (Patrick) McGuire; great grandchildren, Kyle Jacob Butz, and Kirstin Aleah Butz (Eric Turner); and many other family and friends.

A visitation for Thelma will be held Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, Ohio 45005. A funeral service will occur Friday, April 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Anderson Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Sowards officiating. Burial will take place at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
