Thomas Olan Purkey, age 67, of Franklin, died Thursday December 28, 2017 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born in Franklin, Ohio on December 17, 1950 to Olan and Nellie (White) Purkey. He was formerly with Beckett Paper and Logan Long for several years. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Dorothy Fisher and Nancy Taylor, and his brother, Jack Purkey. Thomas is survived by his wife, Linda Stapleton Purkey two daughters, Jennifer (Eric) Imsande and Jill (David) Mueller. Also 4 grandchildren and two sisters, Ruth Halcomb and Joy Lyday.
