Thomas Harper Terry

Thomas Harper Terry, age 86, of Franklin, Ohio, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday January 6, 2018 at Carlisle Manor. Tom was born in Guerrant, Kentucky on September 3, 1931 to Daniel Boone and Edna (Johnson) Terry. Tom came to Ohio in 1951 and worked at Armco Steel for forty years. He retired as a crane operator in the soaking pits. Tom was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and a Kentucky Colonel. After serving in the U.S. Navy as a pipe fitter from 1955 to 1957, he returned to Franklin and married Lila Burdge on October 19, 1957. Tom is survived by his wife, Lila; two sons, David (Becky), Teddy (Renee); two grandsons, Matthew (Jackie) and Caleb (Felicia) Terry; two granddaughters, Amanda (Rodney) Rust and Katie (Paul) Fox; Six great grandchildren, Jacob, Nathan, Benjamin, Joshua, Braydon, and Savannah Rose. Funeral services are 1pm Wednesday, January 10 2018 at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd St Franklin, OH with Rev. Larry Lambes officiating.
