Vernie Leo Moore

Vernie Leo Moore, Jr. age 61, of Franklin, Ohio, passed away Friday, October 5, 2018 at Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn Michigan. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 10, 1957 to the late Vernie Moore and Zonia McGowan.

He was employed with Bowling Transportation. Vernie was a member of the Eagles Lodge#2306 he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Katnie Moore; sister, Vera Archer and granddaughter Scarlette Smith.

Vernie is survived by his wife of 21 years Vicki Moore; six sons, Kaleb Moore, Sam (Sara) Smith, Joe (Liz) Smith, Josh (Jessica) Moore, Vernie (Lea Ann) Travis Moore, Jake (Nichole) Harrison; daughter, Jamie (Jason) Mullins; nine grandchildren, Addison, Logan, Madelynn, Alexander, Zoey, Ivy, Ali, Zach, Tori; great granddaughter, Joanna; three sisters, Verna Fudge, Van Grewell, Vesta Moore and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services are 10:00 am Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Celebrant Dan Flory officiating. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, October 12, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm also at the funeral home.
