I miss her loved her was always happy to see her praying for all the Family and asking the Gods comforting hand at your loss. There so many things I remember about her it hard to list just one. Denise love you and praying for you and family ( Jenny )

Wanda was my mom's first cousin. We didn't get to see all of you very often in recent years. We have all long since grown up; but the memories of getting together as children always make me smile. Your mom was always so kind and generous to us when we would visit. We mostly played with Denise Ann, Linda and John Henry. Herbert was almost grown by then and Govan hadn't came along yet. Everything we said made Linda laugh and lots of things your mom said made us laugh; especially the hog butchering story. I remember Linda wasn't supposed to eat much chocolate, but she loved chocolate stars. Your mom would tell her not to eat very many so she wouldn't get sick, but that usually didn't work. I remember how hard your mom worked to take care of your dad when he was injured. She was a sweet and beautiful person. I am very sorry for your loss right now.

Govan- I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was a terrific lady the few times I met her. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Love to all!

I just found out about her passing, and I'm extremely saddened by this. She was always my adoptive grandma. I've known her my whole life, her and my grandma Dorothy, were best friends during my whole life. Growing up on the hill, I remember always going to her house with mom or Mamau either one. She was a great woman, always there whenever someone needed anything, prayer, a friend, food, anything at all. She was one of the first ones there. She will be greatly missed. I'm deeply sorry for your loss.

My best memory is when her son Govan and I got together she told me no deposit and no return. I thought that was so funny

The loss of a loved one on death is a painful and difficult experience and is a time when we need comfort. Please take comfort from our Lord Jesus Christ who promise "that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." (Acts 24:15) A real hope that we can see our dead love ones again in the soon to be restored earthly paradise. (Luke 23:43; Psalm 37:29)

Sitting around with Aunt Wanda and talking about the songs she used to sing in church was so great. We love her and will surely miss her presence here, Denise, Herbert, John, Linda and Govan we send prayers and hugs to you. Love you all
