Wanda Sue Scott

Wanda Sue Scott, age 81, of Franklin, Ohio was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 28, 1944 and passed away May 29, 2025 at her home, surrounded by friends and family. Wanda married the love of her life Robert Scott in 1963, where they made Franklin their home and raised their 3 children, Robert, Kimberly and Mark Scott. Wanda was a member of the First Baptist Church, where she served on the Deaconess board for years and She served on several other committees that involved her children,and was willing to help with anything and everything for her family. She enjoyed sewing and was an amazing seamstress where she sewed many costumes, outfits and uniforms for her children and grandchildren. She was also a fantastic cook and hosted numerous family functions from family summer parties, birthday parties and Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.

Wanda was a graduate of Springboro High School in 1962. She also retired from over 20 years of working for McAlpins (Dillards) department store where she worked in the draperies, lamps and luggage and the hair salon.

Wanda was preceded in death by her mother Ruth (Roberts) and Edward Campbell; and son Mark Eric Scott.

Wanda is survived by her husband of 63 years Robert Scott; children Robert (Lisa) Scott, Kimberly (David) Hendricks, 5 grandchildren, Zachary Hendricks, Eric Scott, Jacob Scott, Brittany Glenn, Bethany Scott: 7 Great Grandchildren .

A visitation for Wanda will be held Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at the Anderson Funeral Home- 1357 E 2nd St, Franklin, Ohio, 45005- A funeral service will occur on Thursday at 11 AM with Pastor Clyde McCammack presiding. Burial will immediately follow at Springboro Cemetery, Springboro, Ohio. In lieu of Flowers donations would be to First Baptist Church in Franklin .
