Will M. White

Will M. White, age 78 of Carlisle, Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 12:06 AM at the Dayton VA Medical Center, under the care of Hospice. Born in Chavies, Kentucky on March 13, 1947 he was a son to the late Ira White and Elizabeth (Smith) Horner.

Will had been a proud United States Marine Corp/ Navy Veteran and had served his country in the Vietnam War. He married the love of his life, Evelyn Kay (Young) on January 19, 1968 and they had 2 children Beth and Mardy. Will had retired from General Motors after providing 32 years of service. He and Evelyn were members of the First Church of God in Franklin, Ohio. He loved to help others; and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. In addition to his parents he is preceded by 2 sisters Edna Riddell; Shy King: 2 brothers Dennis White ; Wendell Robinson.

Survived by his wife of 57 years, Evelyn White: children Beth (Bryan) Wright; Mardy White & fiancée Lore Parrett: grandchildren Rebecca (Ben) Wallace; Maddie Wright; William White: siblings Etta Eagle; Mae Abney; Tom (Susan) Horner; Margaret Robinson: sisters-in-laws Barbara (Ed) Bates; Linda Robinson: special friend Tony McKiddy: as well as numerous nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.

Friends may call on the family from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at the Springboro Cemetery Chapel- 2348 West Lower Springboro Road, Springboro, Ohio, 45066- Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM at the chapel with Pastor Mark Crider presiding. Burial to follow at Springboro Cemetery, Springboro, Ohio. Memorial Contributions may be given to Dayton VA Medical Center, CDCE (135), 4100 West Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45428-in Will’s Honor.
