

He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Bill retired from General Electric after 36 years then worked part time at Adesa car auction. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, dogs, listening to Bluegrass and gospel music. Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather and doted over his family who will miss him very much.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters. Bill will be missed by his loving wife of 54 years, Elma Gentry; son, William (Judy) David Gentry; grandchildren, Kayla Gentry (Isaac Barnes) Brandon Lindberg, Haley Gentry, William Hunter Gentry; brother, Carmon "Sonny" Gentry and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Franklin FreeWill Baptist Church, 6194 State Route 123 Franklin,Ohio with Rev. Ron Polly officiating. Burial in Springboro Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday 11:00 am-1:00 pm at the church.
