
William R. Ketchem, age 93 of Germantown, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. He was born August 6, 1924 in Winchester, Kentucky the son of James Edward and Bessie (Tackett) Ketchem. Bill served in the Army Air Corps during WWII and was stationed in Naples, Italy. He was a member of the Poasttown First Church of God. Bill was a self-employed plumber for 70 years. He loved to hunt, fish and drive his golf cart. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Anna Mae (Haller) Ketchem; children, Steve (wife, Amy) Ketchem, Kenny Ketchem, Janet Miller, and Sharon (husband, Jay) Miller; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Glen Ketchem; and seven siblings, George, Floyd, Steve Ketchem, Gertrude Haller, Laura Martin, Martha Deaton and Dorothy Smith.
Funeral services will be at Noon on Thursday at the Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home with Pastor Kenny Brewer officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
