Yvonne Brown

Yvonne was born on February 15, 1938 to Mayme (Wardlow) and George H. Morton, the second child and eldest daughter. Born and raised in Franklin, Ohio, she graduated from Franklin High School in 1956.

She was employed with the Warren County Auditor's office for seven years before joining Armco Research administrative staff where she worked for 30 years, retiring in 2000.

Yvonne is preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband, Robert A. Brown, Sr., and her maternal grandmother, Salina Coleman, of Middletown.

She leaves to cherish her memory Lowvell "Sunny" Cobb; five children, Kim D. McClure, Rhonda (Robert) Fomby, Robert Aaron Brown, Jr., Kelly A. Brown, and Sandra (Robert) Smith; eleven grandchildren, Kisha, Torince, Tarra, Tennille, Bianca, Anissa, Brandon, Deion, Colin, Olivia, and Adam; four great-grandchildren, Tristan, Trace, Jinaya, and Regan. She also is survived by four brothers, Hummons (Debbie) Morton, Richard (Ruth) Morton, Daryl Johnson, and Melvin (Paula) Morton and two sisters, Carol Ann Jones and Norma Jean Morton and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitations will be held at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 East Second Street, Franklin, on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Homegoing services will be on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Second Baptist Church, 116 South Verity Parkway, Middletown; Bishop Mark Monroe, officiating.
