

Angel Geslani Jr. was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Angel will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
He was the son of Angel and Salud Geslani. Angel grew up in Malasiqui, Pangasinan.
Angel was raised with three sisters. Maricar, an older sister, and two younger sisters, Josie and Vivian. Angel was usually involved in all sorts of activities with his siblings. He and his siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.
As a young boy, Angel had a number of interests. Like most children, he enjoyed playing and making up games. He was curious about the world around him and was often eager to explore it. Angel was an active child who took part in spider fights, marbles and tumbang preso. He was a boy scout. In his spare time he liked to catch fish in the canal fronting his ancestral home. Angel's memorable achievements included an exceptional dancing prowess. However, to Angel, the most fun to be had was simply playing and spending time with his friends.
A typical teenager, Angel had a fairly happy high school experience, making that critical transition from adolescence to adulthood. He enjoyed some classes more than others, having favorite subjects and teachers. His favorite class in high school was history. The teacher he enjoyed learning from the most were Mr Generoso Castro and Miss Emeliana Mamaril.
Angel enjoyed his college years, which may have been a challenge with all of the academics, responsibilities, and the sudden freedom that accompanied them, but Angel was able to manage the balancing act. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree.
Always considered a “good” friend to those he knew, Angel enjoyed a broad group of acquaintances and several very close friends during his lifetime. While growing up, some of his best friends were Gus de Guzman, Romy Geslani, Cora Buyao, Fred Pabalate, Jun Soriano. Later in life, he became friends with Adonis Rangel, Totit Macaranas, the late Celso Lolarga, Pedy Torio, Batching Versoza.
Empathic and loyal, Angel was committed to making his new family happy.
Angel worked hard to be a good father to his children and he did his best to fulfill their needs. Angel was blessed with five children: four sons: Angel III, Frank, Manny and Michael, and one daughter, Jocelyn. Another blessing for Angel was the gift of six grandchildren, Mark, Krisanta, Arnold, Alec, Kevin, Faith.
Fortunately, Angel enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Angel worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. His primary occupation was an electronic technician in the Silicon Valley. He was employed for over twenty years. Angel always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Angel found pleasure in sports. Angel was also something of a sports fan and enjoyed following his favorite events whenever he had the chance to do so. Tops on his list were football, baseball and basketball.
Angel passed away on October 29, 2011 at Santa Clara Valley Med. Angel fought a battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Aurora, and his five children and six grandchilden. Services will be held on Monday, November 7, 2011 1030AM at St Maria Goretti Parish. Angel will be laid to rest in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park Fremont, California.
Simply stated, Angel was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Angel leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Angel Geslani Jr.
