Danilo Baltazar Manganti, beloved father, husband, brother , grandfather, uncle, friend, and mentor, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025, surrounded by his family. His life was a testament to quiet strength, steady devotion, and a deep appreciation for simple joys.
Dan was born on October 6, 1944, in Pampanga, Philippines, the second of five children to Ignacio and Anastacia Manganti.
Growing up in Carmen, Pampanga, he was known for his humor, kindness and determination and quickly became someone others loved to be around. Although he completed his Criminology degree in Manila, he became a successful Toyota fleet salesman.
Dan married the love of his life, Rosa, in 1975. Their partnership was one built on laughter, commitment, and mutual respect. Together they raised a happy family. Dan’s way of showing affection with his kids is tough love. Though he was strict, he was always ready with helpful advice, a warm hug, or a well-timed joke.
While living in California, Danilo worked at the United States Postal Services where he became known for his strong work ethic and built a reputation as someone who showed up fully - early mornings, late evenings, and countless hours.
Outside of work, he developed a passion for music, fishing, gardening, and sports. He was an avid fan of the Golden State Warriors. He was happiest being outdoors, fishing with his grandkids or his close friends.
Even during difficult times, Danilo faced life with grace, courage, and unwavering love for those around him. His journey was not always easy, but it was lived with fullness and meaning. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion, integrity, and love. He is deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit lives on-through the memories we cherish, the lessons he taught us, and the love he shared so generously.
Though his passing leaves a space impossible to fill, Dan’s legacy endures in the countless lives he touched, the lessons he taught, and the love he freely gave. His family finds comfort in knowing he has found peace and that his spirit continues to guide them.
“Those we love never truly leave us; they live on in the kindness they showed, the memories they shared, and the love they gave.”
