DORIS ANN PINE STEFANS July 9, 1938 to March 14, 2024 Â Doris was born in Niles, Fremont, California on July 9,1938. Doris was preceded in death by her father & mother, Joe & Mae Pine, and sister, Vivian Morgan. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Gordon Stefans, her sister, Shirley Faria, and several nieces and nephews. Gordon and Doris met at the International Kitchen in 1960 and enjoyed many dates in his 1955 Plymouth Belvedere. They married in 1962 & honeymooned in Seattle at the 1962 World's Fair. That was the beginning of many amazing and exotic trips. In 1964, they purchased the Buick Rivera that is enjoyed and driven till date. Â She began work at Weibels Winery while in high school until her early retirement after 28 years . When she came home and told Gordon, "I retired today". We always laughed about her independent decision that day. Doris will be remembered for her understated calm and easy going demeanor and pure sweetness. There will never be another Doris. You are already missed. Rest in Peace Sweet Doris.
