

With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Erlita Panlilio, who left this world on March 24, 2026, at the age of 71. Erlita was at home, embraced by the loving presence of her family, as she gracefully concluded her courageous battle with stroke illness. Born on February 27, 1955, in Pampanga, Philippines, Erlita was the cherished daughter of the late Jose and Lucia. Her early life in the Philippines was filled with the warmth of family and the rich culture of her homeland, which she carried with her throughout her life.
Erlita was predeceased by her beloved parents, Jose and Lucia, and her siblings Boy, Ato, and Elsa, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms into the next journey. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and resilience, survived by her devoted children, Vianca Urquico, Rafael Urquico, and Cecile Carranceja, and her loving son-in-law, Paolo Carranceja. Erlita was a proud and doting grandmother to Amelia Carranceja, who was a constant source of joy and inspiration in her life. Her family also included their loyal family dog, Bella, also survives her, a faithful friend who brought comfort and warmth to her home. Erlita’s ex-husband, Vergel Urquico, remained a steadfast presence in her life, offering care and companionship until her final moments. She is also survived by her siblings, Rey, Odie, Edna, Robert, Dhines, and Elvie, who will cherish her memory always.
For more than 30 years, Erlita dedicated her life to caregiving, a profession that was not merely work but a true calling. Her unwavering commitment to helping others was a reflection of her deeply selfless and loving nature. Erlita’s generosity knew no bounds; she was always willing to lend a helping hand and offer a kind word to those in need. Her warmth and compassion touched countless lives, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Erlita found joy in the simple pleasures of life, with a heart that was ever open and giving. Her hardworking spirit and altruistic nature were evident in all she did, embodying a life of service and love that inspired those around her. Known for being selfless, giving, hardworking, loving, and generous, Erlita was loved by everyone who had the fortune of crossing her path.
A service to honor and celebrate Erlita’s extraordinary life will be held on April 4, 2026, at 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Lima Family Milpitas-Fremont, located at 48800 Warm Springs Blvd, Fremont, CA 94539, United States. We invite all who knew and loved Erlita to join us in remembering a life filled with love and compassion, as we bid farewell to a remarkable woman whose legacy will forever remain in our hearts.
