Atanacio Dionisio and Francisca del Mando were th proud parents of Felixberto Dionisio, Sr. when they welcomed him to this world 86 years ago. Felix (not the cat) as his family and friends fondly called him, was born on August 22, 1924 and was raised in Manila, Philippines. He finished and graduated from high school in the Philippines, joined the Philippine Army (Guerilla) in 1944 and was honorably discharged in 1945. At the age of 23 on September 1947 he was married to Francisca and together they raised a beautiful family of eight boys. In November of 1982, he immigrated the United states to re-join his wife and started a new life.
Adobo, doughnuts and soda are among his favorite foods. Singing and dancing were his passion. He was funny and just wanted to be the center of attention.
Felix had a full and happy life; he passed away on January 21, 2011.
